These ladies not only all sing with Assiniboine Chorus, but perform with their own barbershop quartets. Assiniboine Chorus is proud to have the following quartets associated with our chorus. We endorse all of them as excellent singers and entertainers, suitable for any occasion.
Journeys
In September of 2009, Paula (tenor), Marjorie (bass), Ethel (lead), and Karen(baritone) combined their singing talents to form the quartet – JOURNEYS. They have developed very entertaining show packages that are always well received by their audiences at private, corporate and community events. In 2015, JOURNEYS received the Assiniboine Chorus “Quartet Achievement Award” that recognizes a quartet’s involvement in the Chorus, visibility in the community and a commitment to the promotion of a cappella four-part harmony - barbershop style. JOURNEYS believes music is a universal language and a window to the world.
