Who is Assiniboine Chorus?

Assiniboine Chorus is a fabulous group of women who gather together in celebration of the art form known as barbershop music. We are a non-profit,chorus of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony.

There's something special about the sound of ladies voices raised in harmony and the fun can be infectious. We can be heard throughout the year, singing for civic and charitable organizations, private groups, churches, community events and fundraisers.

Assiniboine Chorus is proud to be a member of Manitoba Choral Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, strengthening, and promoting the choral arts in Manitoba.

We will be taking a break during the fesive season. Our first rehearsal in 2025 will take place on Tuesday, January 14th at 7:00 pm at Churchill Park United Church, 525 Beresford Avenue at 7:00 pm. We welcome and are always looking for new female singers. Please join us!!

Assiniboine Chorus is more than just an a cappella choir, it is a family. We love getting together each week, and we love sharing friendships as well as beautiful music in 4-part harmony. It's a wonderful way to have fun singing and enjoy a "ladies night out".

Sitting in on one of our rehearsals is the perfect way to find out more about us and what we can do for you!
